Trump and McCain have been at odds since early in the campaign when Trump declared that McCain, a POW during the Vietnam war, was only considered a hero because he was captured. She’s so flawed as a candidate.

The Indiana governor is “feeling low and concerned, but soldiering on”, said one Republican official who is close to Pence.
Mr. Strickland, who trails Mr. Portman by double digits in several polls of the Senate race, has repeatedly assailed Mr. Portman over his endorsement of the controversial NY businessman who won the Republican presidential nomination.

But Trump supporters were easily swamped by outraged Americans.
