Some users are complaining of hissing noises from the new iPhone
The 4.0-inch iPhone has the power and brains of the iPhone 6s in a smaller body that a lot of people have been clamoring for since Apple went big with the iPhone. He says that all devices make such a noise, and perhaps it’s just more noticeable on the new iPhone.
According to the video embedded below the iPhone 7 Plus is actually slightly faster than the iPhone 6s Plus which is impressive.
A few other users have complained on social media about their new Apple smartphone when the processor is under heavy task loads.
Whatever the cause, Apple offered to replace Hackett’s phone and would presumably do the same for anyone else whose phone is experiencing the same problem. Unlike what you see on Android devices with the same camera setup, Apple’s case brings in optical zoom, meaning you get to zoom in/out without altering the image. The site thinks that it could be attributed to “coil whine”, the sound “a high-powered processor or virtually any electronic part can make, especially when it’s not properly dampened”.
Apple also supplies buyers with a 3.5 mm headphone jack to Lightning adapter, although it’s not clear if the same glitch is affecting listeners converting their old headphones for use with the iPhone 7. We’re waiting for more speed tests in the future for the iPhone 7 Plus. Right now DWI is selling the S7 Edge for $799, a far more pleasant price point than Samsung’s official one.
