Son kills mother, himself at Voorhees assisted living center

WTXF reported that police were called to the Genesis Healthcare Assisted Living Center in Voorhees at approximately 5:45 p.m. EDT.

Sixty two year old man, George Bullet III, has Sunday late afternoon killed his mother, Andrea Bullet, 85, at a New Jersey nursing home before then killing himself in an apparent suicide murder after having lunch together.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said 62-year-old George Buller III was visiting his 85-year-old mother, Andree Buller.

6ABC reported that the man was in his 60s, and the woman was in her 80s. He left to get something out of his vehicle, police say, before returning to her room.

Voorhees Deputy Police Chief Bill Donnelly said the facility’s staff is “pretty shaken up” and that they “did their job well”.

The facility is home to patients receiving short- and long-term care and those receiving cardiac management, dementia and Alzheimer’s care. It operates more than 500 centers in the country.
