Son of Lalu Prasad Yadav could become Deputy CM of Bihar
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tejaswi Yadav swore-in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar.
Other RJD ministers who have been key portfolios include Alok Kumar Mehta (cooperative), Chandrika Rai (transport), Ram Vichar Rai (agriculture), Vijay Prakash (labour resources), Anita Devi (tourism), Shivchandra Ram (art, culture and youth), Abdul Ghafoor (minority welfare), Chandrashekhar (disaster management) and Muneshwar Choudhary (mines and geology). Manju Varma, Madan Sahni, Shailesh Kumar and Kapildeo Kamat were among those tipped for ministerial berths. The Bihar elections, which leaders used to claim would change the course of national politics, promise to present a mega picture of opposition unity ahead of the crucial Winter Session of the Parliament later this month.
Congress Legislature Party (CLP) had after a meeting onNovember 14 in Patna authorised party chief Sonia Gandhi and Rahul to chose a CLP leader and also take a decision on whether to join the Kumar-led government.

Lalu’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav has also been allocated three ministries in the Nitish Kumar-led Cabinet.
According to sources, Lalu’s younger son Tejaswi, 26, will be given the Deputy Chief Minister’s chair.
After the Mahagathbandhan recorded a huge victory and defeated BJP in the state assembly elections, Nitish Kumar today for the 5th time was sworn in as Bihar Chief Minister.
Among the “grand alliance” partners, the RJD became the single largest party in the assembly with 80 seats, while the JD(U) bagged 71 and the Congress got 27.
Along with Nitish, 12 members each from RJD and JD(U) and four from Congress were administered oath as ministers by Governor Ram Nath Kovind.
