Sonakshi Sinha comes out in support of jailed TV comedian Kiku Sharda

Kiku, best known for his drag act as Palak in popular TV show “Comedy Nights With Kapil“, was arrested by Haryana police yesterday on a complaint alleging he hurt religious sentiments by mimicking the Dera Sacha Sauda sect head. Firstly, Kiku was arrested by Mumbai police and was taken to Delhi. Kiku who apologised to Gurmeet Ram Rahim as well as his followers spoke to a leading channel and told, “It was a dance performance”.

“If any kind of mimicry hurt anyone’s sentiments, then it can be avoided”. I was informed on Twitter that there is some case filed against me, which I also somehow didn’t take very seriously because I thought maybe someone was trying to scare me on Twitter. It could’ve been shot and edited.

Station House Officer Fatehabad, Dinesh Kumar said, “After forming a team we reached Kaithal and we asked Kiku to join the investigation”.

Later in the evening, he was released on a surety bond of Rs. one lakh by the Kaithal court.

Rishi Kapoor notorious for his twitter fights and taking the matter by the horn just posted a colorful picture of Dera Sacha Sauda leader singing like on stage, dressed as rockstar, and expressed his desire to play “Rockstar” in future movie.

Kiku would be produced before a local court on Thursday, he said.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim, the self condemned godman, who people follow and worship were offended by the imitation act done by Kiku.

Being a gentle person, Kiku Sharda is upset to see himself in such kind of controversy.
