Sonakshi tags Salman, Akki, Ajay Devgn as her `action gurus’

The official trailer of the upcoming Bollywood action Drama movie Akira featuring Sonakshi Sinha playing the main lead role had been released by the movie makers on Youtube on July 4, 2016.

When she was asked about her favorite action co-star, she said, “Dabangg is Salman, Rowdy is Akshay and Sardar is Ajay”.

Akira’s trailer dropped on Monday and the adrenaline hit couldn’t be more claimed. “Watching him do all the action, in all the movies we shot, you get to learn a lot”. Everyone is highly anticipating to see Sonakshi in an action movie avatar.

Akira is set to release on September 2. Konkona Sen Sharma too has a prominent character where she plays a junior police officer seeking the truth. It feels fantastic, it feels that I was waiting for this moment and I was born to do this. “The biggest tip he (Akshay) gave me was “injuries se bach kay rehna”, which I wasn’t able to follow”. There she comes across several rivals, who takes them with her martial arts. We are talking of Sonakshi’s next film Noor, where she plays a Pakistan-based journalist who braves both bombs and bad bosses. “It was quite exciting and really awesome”. The story is her struggle and fight against the corrupt system. From her smooth turn as an action star herself in Akira, it is apparent that the lady was learning all the time she was sharing the screen with the bulky and brawny men.
