Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja First Day Opening

With regular screening of her upcoming venture “Neerja” conducted for the industry, Sonam, asked which compliment there she liked the most, replied: ” (Of) My director (Ram Madhvani).

Though she has been criticized for her acting abilities during her initial days she has taken her time to improve herself as an actress. Most importantly as a movie watching experience, you’ll be glued to the movie screen with tears and admiration welling up in your eyes.

In an exclusive interview to NDTV, Sonam Kapoor, who plays protagonist Neerja Bhanot in her biopic, said that: “Bravery is when you act in the face of fear”. She did not differentiate between a Hindu, Muslim, an Indian or Pakistani or American, she saved lives irrespective of those factors.

Early estimates predict an opening around the Rs 5 crore mark which is incredible for a film that has been made on a budget of Rs 13 crore (production) and another Rs 7 crore (additional promotion budget). But, Sonam Kapoor has a different view on this.

Neerja trailer caught huge attention all over and the expectations on the movie reached peaks.

The movie is about the life of slain flight attendant Neerja Bhanot, who sacrificed her life to save over 300 passengers from terrorists who hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 in Karachi, Pakistan.
