Sonequa Martin-Green, the Sasha of ‘The Walking Dead’ and Kenric Green Expecting Their First Kid

Sonequa Martin-Green, the American Actress best known for her zombie drama, The Walking Dead confirmed the Us Weekly that she is pregnant and expecting a baby with husband Kenric Green.

Couple expecting first baby in January and The couple is excited

Kenric Green, the actor and Sonequa are expecting their first baby, while the 29 years old actress is on the way towards motherhood. Sasha, from The Walking Dead in a statement told the Us Weekly that, “Kenric and I are beyond excited.”  She added, “There’s nothing like running around fighting zombies in the Georgia heat to stay in shape while pregnant.”

A long relationship between Sonequa and Kenric

According to the couple, the new born would arrive in the month of January 2015. The couple met each other in 2009 while auditioning for a play in New Jersey and then tied their knot.

The fifth series coming soon

The hit show, The Walking Dead will return for the fifth session on October 12. The zombie series has gained huge popularity while the viewers count has gone more than 16 million in the last October (fourth session). It has been named as the most-watched drama on the basic cable. The series is based on comic book series, where Sasha’s (Sonequa Martin-Green) character is an original one.
