Sonic Lost World Revealed for PC, Screens Unveiled
In just one month Sonic will land on Steam allowing PC players to enjoy the franchise for their first time in years.
SEGA announced today that Sonic Lost World will soon be getting a PC release.
Folks who pre-purchase it will get a free copy of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, one of the best kart racers around (that happens to be regularly discounted on PC). Said John Clark, VP of Commercial Publishing for Sega Europe; “This is the latest in a string of high quality PC ports of past Sega titles that we will be building on in the coming months and years”.
“The Wii U hadn’t been revealed when development began for Sonic Lost World, so we were working on a PC version in order to see what kind of platformer we could make”. The Nightmare DLC, originally offered with theDeadly Six version of the Nintendo Wii U game, will be immediately available and include a stage, boss, and Black Bomb power inspired by NiGHTS into Dreams.
The last Sonic games to land on Steam were Sonic Generations in 2011 and Sonic Adventure 2 in 2012. These two games were reportedly tagged as great releases which paved a good way for the “Sonic Lost World“.
Meanwhile, Lazy Gamer said that there may have been a few moments of brilliance but this is still overpowered by “a awful, poorly designed game”.
