Sony announces two ‘Bad Boys’ sequels
More details on the two news films have not been forthcoming thus far, but we’ll keep you posted as we hear more on them…
Sony has officially announced that they will be releasing Bad Boys 3 in February 2017 and Bad Boys 4 in July 2019.
Reality TV World now offers Facebook Comments on our stories. “I will mention to Will Smith and Jerry Bruckheimer that Conan wants a cameo in the movie”, he said.
And finally, we have the long in the works adaptation of Stephen King’s apocalyptic fantasy gunslinger saga, “The Dark Tower“, coming on January 13, 2016. Nikolaj Arcel is directing.
Martin Lawrence and Will Smith are going to be pretty busy for the next few years because they might be back on the beat! But a lot of other people think those are the reasons Bad Boys II is awesome (the sequel’s mere existence has transformed the forgettable first entry into a genuine footnote in Smith and Bay’s career). Fans of the Bad Boys franchise worldwide can now rejoice because Sony Pictures announced a new slate of films including the long-awaited announcement of the buddy cop sequels. Paul W.S. Anderson’s RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER will come out January 27, 2017, a handful of weeks after THE DARK TOWER.
Variety reports the Sony are prepping a Jumanji reboot for next Christmas (gonna be a squeeze, but doable) alongside the Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence sci-fi romance Passengers in the same window. The two movies will continue the franchise that started two decades ago. The movies releasing in 2016 include “Money Monster” releasing on April 8, “The Shallows” on June 24, “Ghostbusters” on July 15, “Patient Zero” on September 2, “The Magnificent Seven” on September 23, “Underworld 5” on October. 21, “Passengers” on December. 21 and “Jumanji” on Dec. 25.
