Sony IS still working on first party Vita content
December 2014 saw PlayStation 4 owners get a AAA game in the shape of Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition so we’re expecting something similar this year as a Christmas treat. When will Sony finally announce the list?
However, a top Sony executive has recently revealed that first-party studios are no longer developing games for the handheld console as the company is placing its focus on PlayStation 4, leaving game development for PS Vita to third-party studios.
While we can only guess why PlayStation are holding back on revealing the games, if this leak is true at least we’ve been given a glimpse into what the games could be. That’s also when Sony plans to pull October’s line-up, so if you’ve yet to download the likes of Broken Age and Super Meat Boy – replete with its reworked soundtrack – you have until then to add said titles to your download queue.
Meanwhile, fans in the United States have yet to confirm the free games for PlayStation Plus members this November 2015. The announcement has been expected to come mid-week but was pushed on further, hopefully before the week ends. “Sorry I can’t give more precise timing at this point”, which gives away nothing.
Originally posted on Twitter by a Dutch retailer as you can see in the image below, Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead Season 2 and Magicka 2 are announced as the games for November.
While usually free games for United States and Asia gamers vary, sometimes there are similarities in terms of titles.
