Sony PlayStation Experience Mammoth Live Cast Is Underway

Each game costs $14.99. The PlayStation VR headset previously known as Project Morpheus, that was officially revealed earlier this year during GDC’15 was equipped with an OLED display offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels providing 960 x 1080 pixels per eye, together with a RGB subpixel matrix, and is capable of displaying content at 120fps.

Sony Corporation has some good news for PS4 owners. Rest of the keynote was focused on smaller games, indies, a tiresome PlayStation VR show. However the PS2 classics bought on PS3 are not compatible on PS4.

A comedic take on first-person shooter games, World War Toons features caricatures of World War II soldiers fighting in quirky locations while equipping some ridiculous power-ups.

It’s hard to tell just how far Sony will take this, but it has already teased two future titles: The King of Fighters 2000 and PaRappa the Rapper 2. None of the games include a Platinum Trophy. Furthermore, many GTA fans now have more reasons to spend time with their PS4 as all three Grand Theft Auto games are available. Last of Us 2?

GTA: San Andreas ($14.99) – It is the best selling video game of 2004 and remains the best selling PlayStation 2 game of all time. The frame-rate has slightly improved in these PS4 versions over the originals.

Finally, we’re back on track with a game we can get excited about, albeit without much to actually look at yet. However, if it turns out to be successful and sells well, then Sony could run away from the other gaming companies.

Admittedly, the approach being used by Microsoft MSFT +1.82% is still limiting the number of 360 games available to play on the Xbox One but you don’t have to pay for them again.

In EVE Valkyrie, players are given the freedom to look in any direction, even providing the option to lock missiles onto enemies with your view.

Meaning, Sony’s backward compatibility feature is not literally for free.

An oddity for a series known for its action-packed set-pieces, PlayStation Experience showed off protagonist Nathan Drake doing paperwork before being interrupted by the arrival of his brother Sam who was assumed dead.
