Rich Edmonds of Android Central was browsing through the Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5, and Xperia Z5 Premium on Sony‘s eShop website when he realized the devices had a price cut.
Taking ahead the legacy of the successful Xperia M4 Aqua, Sony India today unveiled – Xperia M5 further elevating the imaging experience for young Indian consumers.
It appears that the teaser was right as the Japanese company has just confirmed that Xperia M5 Dual is now available for purchase in India for no less than Rs 37,990 outright, which is about $570 or €515.
This device comes with the Hybrid Autofocus, which uses Phase detection AD that gives faster shutter speed response and contrast for crisp and clear photos. It is IP65 and IP68 certified for water and dust-resistance. The Xperia M5’s front camera is now slouch either, with an impressive 13MP resolution with integrated autofocus and Full-HD video recording.
Sony’s Xperia M5 Dual comes with a 5-inch FullHD display with a 1920×1080 pixels resolution. In order to support this powerful display, the Z5 premium also gets an upgraded 3,430mAh battery pack.
All the Xperia Z family smartphones are equipped with a 23-megapixel rear camera with hybrid auto-focus.
Engadget also noted that the upcoming Xperia release powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and a battery which can last for two days. Xperia M5 will be available in black and gold colour at Sony Centers, Sony Smartphone Lounges and all leading retail outlets across India.
This phone has various connecctivity options such as 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE etc.
The phone has a design that is quite identical to Xperia devices that we’ve seen in the past, including the glass back panel and something that Sony likes to call the OmniBalance style.
All the three phones run Android 5.1 Lollipop and have 3GB RAM expect for Z5 Compact that has only 2GB RAM.
