A Dutch website, TechTastic, says it managed to get the promotional shot, which shows the back of the handset. Just as the tradition goes, the company is expected to take wraps off its next generation Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact smartphones.
Sony has already confirmed that it will be hosting a keynote at the September IFA event in Berlin. It doesn’t appear Sony is ready to switch up their style just yet, but the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact “may” turn out to be a popular device depending on the final specifications and how Sony decides to release it.
According to a report by VR-Zone, the Z5 Plus is reportedly going to feature 4K display resolution or 3840 x 2160 pixels. While we can’t be 100% sure, it does seem to be in line with earlier leaked photos. It is worth noting that the Japanese tech giant introduced two new colors with the predecessor Sony Xperia Z4 – Copper and Aqua Green. If the rumors are to be believed the handset should arrive with a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset paired with 3 GB of RAM, while sporting a 20.7 MP rear-mounted shooter and an 8 MP user-facing camera for your selfie needs.
