South Korea president to visit China

In a response to growing worries over mounting debt, South Korea unveiled a set of measures aimed at mitigating risks from household borrowing in July. It did not mention whether there were injuries or damage on either side.

South Korea fired artillery rounds towards the source of an incoming North Korean projectile in a western area of the inter-Korea border on Thursday, Seoul’s defence ministry said.

South Korea’s presidential office said it was convening an urgent meeting of the national security council, Yonhap said.

The anonymous spokesperson demanded that Geun-hye be “buried in a cemetery as soon as possible”. But Kim eventually didn’t go and sent his parliament head to the event that marked the 70th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.

North Korea’s army said previously in a statement that the broadcasts were a declaration of war and that if they were not immediately stopped “an all-out military action of justice” would ensue.
