Spartans Handle Nittany Lions As Program Looks Ahead
The Nebraska Cornhuskers fell to the Penn State Nittany Lions 76-67 in overtime in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament, marking Nebraska’s fifth consecutive loss.
Penn State learned this the hard way on Wednesday, as No. 8 Washington pounced on almost every chance the Nittany Lions gave them, en route to a dominating 13-1 victory in five innings. “I think Watkins had a big deal to do with that”.

Stevens and Garner ended up with 16 points each, but it was Nebraska’s inability to find an answer for Watkins that was the difference in the game.
