Details are pretty thin at the moment, but Criterion promise to have more information soon.
Microsoft is rolling out an OS update for the Xbox One which brings support for two highly anticipated features: game streaming on Windows 10 and backward compatibility.
The Xbox One is also being prepared for the backwards compatibility feature, which will be introduced in a few months.
A handful of games are already available for preview members, but its set to officially roll out by “holiday 2015”. “Game streaming is then initiated from the Xbox on Windows 10 app on a PC or tablet in the same home network”, explained the company’s Xbox group in a June 15 announcement. The update allows Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers to play multiplayer titles together, each using their respective devices. However, I imagine having a developer like Criterion actively petitioning to have their game get added to the list is a good way to get the ball rolling.

VG247 reports that the massive UI overhaul for Xbox One will feature brand new elements that will come to the Xbox One and some of the highlights of the redesign are as follows. “Games developed for DirectX 12 in Windows 10 will see improvements in speed, efficiency and graphics capability”.
