Spencer Ware Starts with Charcandrick West

If West is unable to go on Sunday, then expect Spencer Ware to get the full workload for the Chiefs backfield. The Chiefs are expected to have tight end Travis Kelce, who is also questionable with an ankle injury.

The Chiefs had left open the possibility that West would be able to play Sunday and had listed him as questionable on their final injury report of the week. Ware rushed for 96 yards and a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns on 11 carries in West’s place. On Wednesday, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he was optimistic both could play this Sunday against Buffalo at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs running back suffered a hamstring injury during the second half of the team’s blowout win over the Chargers last Sunday. West has 10 touchdowns and three interceptions this season while throwing for 2426 yards and he is worth starting in Week 12 for fantasy owners in need of a quarterback.

Charcandrick West isn’t healthy enough to play just yet.
