‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ First Official Image Swings Onto the Web
Spider-Man fans rejoice! The brand-new trailer for “Spider-Man: Homecoming” was released last night, and the new Peter Parker, Tom Holland, is the flawless teenage kid trying to balance high school and web slinging. Sorry, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, but at least Tom Holland looks the role of a teenage kid balancing superpowers and homeroom angst in the first Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer. Man, Jared Leto would have gone for years, found a radioactive spider to bite him and run around New York City fighting crime.
Spider Man “Homecoming” Suit: Yay or Nay? So, what song plays in the Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer?
Spider-Man: Homecoming is expected to hit theatres on 7 July, 2017. “I know you want to save the world, but you’re not ready yet”.
Spotted it yet? Yes, Parker is just as nerdy as us, revealing his love of the ultimate sci-fi franchise with a model of the AT-AT Walker from Star Wars. For me, it was the first time I was in a classroom with girls.
Holland portrays the misfit high-schooler eager to prove himself a hero, who faces off with Michael Keaton’s villainous Vulture. Tony Stark, who will be something of a mentor to Peter. I was like ‘Hey man, listen, I’m actually Spider-Man.’ He did not believe me. Unlike previous Spider-Man movies where Spidey learned to be a superhero rather quickly, Homecoming will show the web-head act like a bonehead too. Jon Favreau will appear in the movie as a classic Marvel character and makes him the second Iron Man actor in a web slinger feature, following behind Robert Downey Jr. “This is really a movie where Spider-Man’s not the finished article”, says Holland. Sure, there are still villains to contend with and a fair bit of action as well, but most of Homecoming looks to be a far cry from what we usually see in superhero films.
