Spider-Man Trailer From Paris Games Week
The teaser trailer also gives us a sense of where the young adult Peter Parker in the game (he’s said to be 23 years old) is in his life.
The appeal of a Spider-Man game is letting you play as Spidey, not pressing X to see a neat cut scene. Instead, this trailer focuses more on the story and the various conflicts Peter Parker will face in this upcoming game.
This one includes a look at some indoor combat as Spider-Man takes on a group of goons by sling- shotting himself toward them. After taking down Wilson Fisk, one of the city’s most notorious criminals who is commonly known as Kingpin, a risky new group of super powered criminals known as the Inner Demons begin to take over the city of NY.
Spider-Man for PS4 (or “Marvel’s Spider-Man” as it now appears to be called) wowed everyone when it debuted at E3 2016. We also see Peter’s “very close friend” Mary Jane Watson and Aunt May.
Sony’s released a new trailer for Insomniac’s Spider-Man game and it looks awesome. (Keaton previously portrayed of Batman and Birdman.) The video claims audiences will be “bored stiff when Vulture fights Spider-Man in bland CGI slug-fests”, and that the character is more frightening when he’s “just being Michael Keaton”.
Finally, IGN tried to get Insomniac’s Creative Director to confirm whether Miles Morales has a playable role in the game.
While he won’t be drawn on specifics about the open world portions of the game, that’s not to say there aren’t new gameplay details to discover – Intihar’s much happier to talk about what it is to control Spider-Man, moment to moment.
Spider-Man comes out at some point in 2018.
