Spoiler: Master Chief won’t take his helmet off in Halo 5: Guardians
There are a couple things we know about what Master Chief keeps under his helmet, he’s a caucasian male with reddish-brown hair.
If there was going to be a Halo game in which Master Chief took his helmet off, Halo 5: Guardians would have been a solid candidate.
Longo wasn’t sure if he was allowed to say anything, but he confirmed that Master Chief “doesn’t take his helmet off”.
The curiosity surrounding the face of Master Chief is massive.
Halo 5 is little over two months away and it is shaping up to be a memorable entry. With a campaign that’s twice the size of Halo 4’s, a much deeper story filled with characters from throughout the franchise’s mythos, and the new Warzone multiplayer mode, there’s so much to distract from the always-present desire to see what John actually looks like. Do you even want the lucky protagonist to remove his helmet?
343 said back in 2012 it wasn’t ready to show the man’s face, and it doesn’t appear we will see it any time soon. There was a quick glimpse of his eyes masked in shadow, and if you lightened the image, you could see some eyeball glinting in the black holes. Get at us in the comments.
