Spotted: Shahid Kapoor arrives in Delhi for his wedding

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput got married today on 7 th July in the morning.

The duo’s families hosted the gala sangeet ceremony Monday night.

While Shahid was wearing a sherwani designed by Kunal Rawal, Mira looked elegant and resplendent in a light pink and silver embroidered lehenga with a veil over her head.

According to a report on MissMalini.com, Kapoor and Rajput officially tied the knot at around 11 am on Tuesday. The couple earlier took their marriage vows at a close friend’s house in Delhi.

After an intimate wedding, a grand reception will be he held in Mumbai on July 12, which will have the industry’s crème-de-la-crème in attendance. Designer Masaba Gupta will also be styling Shahid and his gorgeous bride-to-be.

The after-party will have a mix of both Indian and continental cuisine.

It was Shahid’s decision to avoid the traditional golden colour on the invite, Ravish added.

Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak were spotted at the sangeet ceremony. The vendor, Anu Mobile Paan Bhandar, has celebs like Shilpa Shetty, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Bobby Deol, among others, as his regular clients. Jaipur-based paan vendor Annu Mobile Paan Bhandar will reportedly add a special flavour to the gala spread.
