Spring Forward: Daylight Saving Time Starts Sunday

In Pennsylvania, state Fire Commissioner Tim Solobay said this serves as a good time to change the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration advises people have their vehicles checked for safety recalls around Daylight Saving Time.
A study by the JPMorgan Chase Institute analyzed financial transactions immediately after the time change in Los Angeles, and the same period in Phoenix, since Arizona stays on Standard Time year-round.
