Spurs table N2.4b bid for Moses
Moses, 24, spent last season on loan at Stoke and was fared out to Liverpool for the one before that, but wants to return to London – where he grew up and began his pro career with Crystal Palace.
Should Chelsea sell Moses to Spurs?
According to the Mirror’s John Cross, Spurs are looking to bring in Moses as a replacement for the likely-outgoing Andros Townsend.
Spurs are now looking to convince Chelsea to sell a second player of theirs to a direct London and a top six rival, following Petr Cech’s move to Arsenal some days ago.
“I think Chelsea have a view on Victor”, Hughes was quoted as saying by the Stoke Sentinel.
However, the Premier League champions may be open to letting the Nigeria worldwide go, especially if they can beat Liverpool to the signing of Barcelona star Pedro, per Spanish daily Sport (h/t MailOnline’s Matt Morlidge).
“He did really well for us last year despite some injuries but it looks like Victor could play a part for Chelsea this year.”
During the tour, Chelsea will travel to New Jersey to face the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday, July 22 before a clash against PSG in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, July 25.
Victor Moses has made close to 50 appearances for the Blues, and could well add to that number the coming season.
Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has given up hope of signing the forward on a permanent deal hinting that Moses will be involved with the English Premier League champions next season.
