Square Enix confirms Gamescom 2015 line-up – Final Fantasy XV for PS4 News
“Whether it is FINAL FANTASY or DRAGON QUEST, DEUS EX, HITMAN or JUST CAUSE – Square Enix presents its biggest franchises large-scale”.
Last month, various sources reported that Square Enix is hoping to increase the PlayStation 4 sales when they announced the upcoming “Final Fantasy VII” remake.
This year’s Gamescom is only a couple weeks away, so publishers planning to populate the German trade show are starting to announce the many titles they will be bringing to the event.
Final Fantasy 15 will be the subject of a stage presentation featuring “well-known guests” and new insights into the game.
Rise of the Tomb Raider wasn’t revealed as one of the games as part of Square Enix’s lineup.
The good and unexpected news is that Just Cause 3, out this December, will indeed be playable on the showfloor, so everyone will be able to test it once they’re at the event in Koln, alongside Life is odd, Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae 2.0 and Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward.
This looks like it’s going to be a good convention for Square Enix fans.
Microsoft is also hosting its own conference at Gamescom, where it plans to talk about Xbox One exclusives that were not present at E3, such as Quantum Break and Scalebound. The clamor for an additional platform release is such that fans even started an online petition at Change.org to add a PC version to the supposedly console-only release of “Final Fantasy XV“.
Gamescom gets underway on Wednesday, August 5 with the doors opening to the public the following day on Thursday, August 6.
