Square Enix ‘Not Ruling Out’ Kingdom Hearts PS4 Compilation
But will “Kingdom Hearts 3” finally debut at E3 2016? Right now, though, Square is focusing their attention on the development of Kingdom Hearts 3, which Yasue says is “moving along fine”, as well as the upcoming release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue later this year (which will set the stage for 3). While this may have left fans dismayed, the said trailer concluded with the “Kingdom Hearts 3” logo, along with a subtitle that reads “upcoming announcements this winter”. And one of those game franchises that players would probably crave the most on the PlayStation 4 is Kingdom Hearts. However, that game should serve as a sort of prologue for Kingdom Hearts 3. The games also featured popular Disney movies like “Pirates of the Carribean” and “Tron”. However, the D23 Expo hardly falls in winter. The released could also be done online, though given how Disney and even Square Enix go for big events, that might be unlikely.
Fans are still waiting for “Kingdom Hearts 3” to be announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016.
This would include the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix and the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, which are now only available on the PS3. Its trailer has shown some aspects of the game and more will be revealed during E3 2016.
Square Enix delighted their fans upon revealing the trailer for “Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: The Final Chapter Prologue”.
The series already had two remastered compilations on PlayStation 3, though, and according to an interview with GameSpot, Square Enix hasn’t ruled out bringing previous games to PlayStation 4.
If rumors prove accurate, Square Enix’s KH3 is expected to launch sometime after April next year.
