Sri Lanka Win West Indies Test series 2-0
Not many teams in global cricket will dismiss a Test side for 200 runs twice in a match and still lose the game in basically four days.
The first of the three ODIs will be played on November 1.
Can’t keep Herath or Siriwardana out of the action. In this Test match Jerome (Taylor) led us again. “The pressure was on our bowlers because our batsmen did not deliver”.

Colombo, Oct.25: Milinda Siriwardana’s all round performance helped Sri Lanka to clinch a 72-run win in the second and final Test against West Indies on Monday. Angelo Mathews pouches two good catches at slip. Bravo’s wicket was the key one for Sri Lanka.
Citing inexperience to be a major hurdle going forward, the West Indian captain expressed confidence on the players to improve as they get more games to play. Having recorded his 13th Test fifty, Bravo’s show of defiance came to an end as he thinly edged a full delivery to Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews. We got 20 wickets. The batsman reviews, but the ball is found to be hitting leg stump. The decision stays. Blackwood has to go.
West Indies had begun the day brightly amid overcast conditions, before letting the advantage slip away.
Dilruwan Perera strikes to get Marlon Samuels for 6. “What would be special is it would be the West Indies’ first win over here”.
“As a bowler you might get hit for three or four sixes”. They’ve started well, have effectively run between the wickets, have scored the odd boundaries.
Persistent rain meant that no play was possible at all on Day 4.
The touring side, who lost the first test in Galle by an innings and six runs, reached 112-4 at lunch, still needing 132 for their first win in the format in Sri Lanka.
