SRK keen to avert clash between ‘Raees’ and Hrithik’s ‘Kaabil’
After Shah Rukh Khan starrer “Raees” got postponed to next year, there were rumours abuzz that Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil might also get postponed due to the clash of dates. They should get released in at least 3500 to 4000 theatres at one time. SRK finally bowed out. But the film is ready. On Jan 26, 2017, director Sanjay Gupta tweeted several days back affirming, “Dear All KAABIL launches the truth is”.
“Kaabil” is directed by Sanjay Gupta and it has Hrithik and Yami Gautam in lead. But, clearing the air, the Badshah of Bollywood said that the clash might not happen. We spoke to them a month back as they were just starting so we can do some adjustments. At a Mohenjo Daro occasion this day, Hrithik responded to the bustle surrounding the battle saying, “Yes we said we’re celebrities and talked and we should leave it to determine”. “It’s pure nonsense. Salman and I are in touch constantly”, says the actor, who was on holiday with his sons and returned to Mumbai last week.
He further added, “I think a big film should release in 3500-4000 theaters”. Meanwhile, it is learnt that Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik, Farhan and Ritesh are going to meet soon to figure out a way so that both these movies don’t clash.
With this, it can be speculated that Raees will have a solo release next year.
