Liverpool manager Klopp might want to name the same starting XI that took Leicester apart, although that would involve leaving star Brazilian Philippe Coutinho on the bench.
The 49-year-old was asked for his opinion on Antonio Conte’s passionate touchline antics and intense celebrations, something the former Dortmund boss is quite known for himself.
“It’s exciting – it’s a game you can look forward to”, said Klopp. Obviously he is involved in the game, but that’s not the most important thing. He’s an important player for Chelsea: good passing, good technique. “We played against each other only once, in pre-season, but he’s a fantastic manager and I’ll be glad to see him tomorrow”. “I have confidence in him”.
Chelsea face a side that has already beaten both of last season’s top two in their opening four games, and having faced them in a pre-season game in the United States Conte is wary of the danger that Liverpool possess and rates their manager as one of the best.
