‘Star Trek: Discovery’ panel provides insight on CBS’ new series
So, assuming the world of Discovery is awesome, we should have even more Trek to enjoy. But for many users, the gold standard of natural language interfaces is the fictional Library Computer Access and Retrieval System (LCARS) that appeared in numerous Star Trek TV series and movies.

For those fans of Kirsten Beyer’s Star Trek: Voyager novels, the good news is that she will continue to write them as well as writing for Discovery. IDW Publishing will also introduce relevant comic books – penned by Beyer and Mike Johnson.
