Star Wars Battlefront Death Star DLC patch notes
In short, this footage exemplifies numerous qualities that helped define the Battlefront franchise (along with a heaping dose of Star Wars universe goodness). This mode is an assault on the Death Star itself, with players fighting both outside in ships and on the ground in the massive orb.
The latest DLC for Star Wars Battlefront is finally here, and it brings some exciting new locations and weapons that you can play around with.
Footage from Star Wars Battlefront III, the cancelled third game in the series from developer Free Radical Design, has found its way online numerous times over the past few years. These two fighters also have their own wingmen. The objective of the last phase is to destroy the Death Star, and players have to battle Imperial forces to get to the exhaust port that connects to the Death Star’s main reactor.
You already know how the new heroes and Battle Station mode will work, with two stages of space combat sandwiched around an infantry battle within the Death Star. Players also have the option to fly on Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced X1, or Luke Skywalker’s Red Five X-wing.
Players can also pick up hero tokens scattered throughout the new levels in order to temporarily assume control of either Chewbacca or Bossk. Speaking of outfits, the update reworks the customization system to let players individually select body outfits and heads, which should open up countless new possibilities for all the dedicated Sullustan role players out there. There’s the K-16 Bryar Pistol and the TL-50 Heavy Repeater, which differ in the way they hail down ammo on enemies.
Some pretty fundamental changes to vehicle powers, Star Cards, and Traits accompany the update as well.
