Star Wars: Battlefront’s Fighter Squadron mode includes hero vehicles
Programmers working on “Star Wars Battlefront”, a Next-gen systems reboot of the popular game released in the early 2000s, have released a new beta, recording more than 38 lifetimes worth of game time, according to Polygon.
Next month, Sony will offer several other bundles including “Limited Edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops III 1TB PS4 Bundle”, “NHL 16 PS4 Bundle”, and “Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Bundle” exclusively for Canada.
Star Wars is the flavour or… well just about everything now. This goes for both the visuals and feel.
“Playing ‘Star Wars Battlefront, ‘ you should get the same feeling that you get when you see the Millennium Falcon swooping by and taking out TIE Fighters in the movies”, he added. The hero vessels can be acquired the same way everything else in DICE’s Battlefront is acquired: power-ups.
Want to pilot the Millennium Falcom or the Slave I? Since these are bigger than the regular starships, they won’t be able to fit in tight spaces.
Choosing two ships as Heroes is an interesting way to make one of the included game modes more attractive for fans but it also represents a limitation because gamers will have a smaller pool of choices for the rest.
Star Wars Battlefront will whisk players to a galaxy far, far away when DICE’s high-profile licensed title touches down on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 17.
