‘Star Wars’ Fans Freak Out As Cinema Projector Malfunctions And Spoils The
A cinema in the USA saw the dark side of Star Wars fans when a 3D screening of The Force Awakens suddenly stopped, plunging the theatre into chaos.

Erik Melendez was in attendance and posted the video on Facebook.
Looks like you’re not safe from spoilers anywhere, not even in the cinema. “Several green bars begin to appear as the movie progresses; black spots appear as well to block the right eye from seeing the film”, a moviegoer wrote in the YouTube caption.
The film then restarted 15 or 20 minutes ahead from where it stopped.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has a December 18, 2015 release directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. “Now in that we seen the movie, we know it wasn’t the ending”, Melendez stated.
“It kind of ruined our night, but it’s better to tell these fun stories than the sad ones you hear about”, Michael Melendez told CBS2’s Jeff Nguyen. The new Star Wars film also broke the $91.1 million opening day record previously set by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 2 in 2011.
A sentiment which may not be shared by many of his fellow Star Wars fans who viewed the mishap as a tragedy of intergalactic proportions.
