Star Wars football uniform concepts are unbelievable
Fans of the Star Wars series got a special treat when they showed up for the sequel this afternoon.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens did not open in theaters until 7:30 p.m. Thursday, but hard-core fans were at the theater bright and early for a marathon before the big premiere.
For the non-Star Wars fan, the months that have led up to these trepidatious last few days must have been quite a testy affair. They say the Star Wars franchise has captured and held their imaginations for their entire lives, many saying they love the simple themes of the films, like good versus evil and father and son.
When asked why they love Star Wars so much, the answer was more than just the characters or the special effects that made a mark in their memories.
“It’s just fun. There’s no where else you’ll meet a group of people you’ve never met before in your life, and 30 minutes later we don’t have to explain anything to each other – we already get each others jokes and all our one-liners”, said Cappelen. Just about anything in the world has had a Star Wars theme to it and football has been no different, as Gametime decided to make some cool Star Wars concept football uniforms. Muto, however, wore a Darth Vader cap and a Stormtrooper T-shirt, had Star Wars-themed tattoos and added he has “two closets that are full of stuff”. AMC will allow lightsabers, as long as fans turn them off during the movie.
