Star Wars Land Experience First Look Released

The diamond jubilee featured a history of the park and behind-the-scenes segments, including a first look at the new Star Wars experience set to open at Disneyland in Anaheim and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, introduced by franchise star Harrison Ford.

“Star Wars is, for lack of a better word, awesome”, he continued.

Every Star Wars fan wants to live in that galaxy far, far away, and soon visitors to Disneyland will get the chance.

Artists’ designs for the new Star Wars also show an Imperial Landing Craft spaceship and an alien street-market, while earlier images from the D23 expo give an idea of the surrounding world, and a glimpse of the Millennium Falcon.

First up, here are some images of what the land itself is going to look like.

The new Star Wars-themed entertainment joins the new (or revamped) Star Wars: Path of the Jedi, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, and Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular.

The shows are the latest “Star Wars” blitz to hit Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can view props, costumes, and memorabilia from all the Star Wars films. The lands, including an area themed to the “Toy Story” movies, were officially announced in August 2015. Share your comments below.
