Star: Wars Rogue One
A new featurette for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has been released, showcasing some behind-the-scenes action for the upcoming movie.
A sizzle reel from the much anticipated “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”, which was revealed in a sizzle trailer at Celebration Europe in far, far away London Friday. The film stars Felicity Jones, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Alan Tudyk and more. Aside from his new look, it was revealed that he also had new weapons that are expected to bring an interesting twist to the story.
“It’s like the fantasy you always had as a kid”.
“You go up to them and say, “That was cool, right? So trying to navigate this thing where it’s new but feels fresh was like the dance that was the process of making the film”.
The director also took sound designer Matt Wood from Skywalker Sound into the studio – and said that they shared a fan moment when they heard Jones’s booming voice say the word “power”. “It’s grounded in this piece of Star Wars history that everyone knows happened”.
Giving clues about his character, Australian actor Mendelsohn said: “He is smarter, I think, than most of his predecessors, he’s more inventive, he’s perhaps a little sexier than some of them, perhaps not as sexy as some of the others”.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is out in theaters on December 16.
A CG character, K-2SO is a towering, reprogrammed droid who speaks his mind. Featuring the cast and crew, with lots of commentary from the movie’s director Gareth Edwards, who is clearly not shy about holding the camera himself, could have just been released as its own trailer and it would work.
The clip publicly display how Ezra made a decision on the fly, barking orders and effortlessly taking out the main ground force of the Galactic Empire – Stormtroopers.
Speaking about the relationship between Yen and Wen’s character, Wen had this to say. “It might change the universe”, the Danish actor reveals.
