Star Wars Rogue One Thanksgiving trailer
That’s that: Looks like Rogue One definitely isn’t going to have the signature Star Wars text crawl, making it a clear departure from every other Star Wars film to date. “But how this evolves.?”
Rogue One is the most important Star Wars film to come out since A New Hope in 1977. The studio is also developing the Han Solo spin-off and Star Wars: Episode IX, along with a long-rumored Boba Fett spin-off that may arrive in 2020.
Since the film was announced, the question of whether or not Rogue One would stick with the tradition of the mainline Star Wars films and have its own “opening crawl” has been asked a bunch of times. He explains that Rogue One is like a “really great World War II movie” but with a “huge, huge heart at the center of it”, so he wanted to make sure he played up that angle. The most interesting of the bunch is this nugget about the Han Solo prequel film. “They’re very big films, and you can’t come into them with essentially no experience”, Kennedy told Variety. She will then give a direct response to Alden Ehrenreich, who will slip into the skin of the famous pilot of the Millennium Falcon in the Star Wars saga.
The Lucasfilm boss shared the fact that only 12 percent of the biggest box office hits past year were overseen by women directors.
The meat of this evening was the final trailer for Rogue One, though. We have enough information where we can step back a little bit and say, What are we doing?
