‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’: First Order Inspired by Nazis
He appears to be facing off against villain Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver.
You just want to hear about how the official Star Wars instagram account piggybacked off of this to debut a short new teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens using Instagram’s new landscape settings. Finn carries a blue lightsaber, while Ren wields the red “crossguard” or “crucifix” device seen in earlier trailers.
The teaser also shows glimpses of the First Order army, including leaders Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson) and Kylo Ren, as well as and Daisy Ridley’s Rey.
With this news reported, this leads us to believe even more that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will possibly beat Avatar’s all-time box office record!
“Force Awakens” will probably top that, with industry insiders estimating that it will probably open to more than $615 million (€546.2 million), half of it from US theaters and half from global territories. This is the first time fans have seen Finn in action, as in all previous looks at the highly anticipated film he has been seen in a Stormtrooper costume. One common theory is that Luke has gone into hiding since we last saw him about 30 years ago. Director J.J. Abrams confirmed to Empire magazine that “Kylo Ren is not a Sith”.
This teaser actually has two bits of very important new footage.
Following Abrams’ revelation on the character, fans can now decipher how the character will affect other characters and the events in “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens“.
The Force Awakens will be the first in a new trilogy and is expected to break many existing box office records when it hits cinemas in December. The film’s script was penned by Abrams, Toy Story 3 writer Michael Arndt and Star Wars franchise veteran Lawrence Kasdan.
