Star Wars: The Force Awakens has bigger secret that the Vader reveal
It might not be the full film, but the most in-depth look at “The Force Awakens” was revealed to the public Friday after the worldwide trailer was released online. The director in charge with the movie, J. J. Abrams confirmed last month that he kept the secret of Jedi master’s presence on objective. Where you’re not allowed to talk about stuff. Here it is what he had to say about all of this. I was able to ride the retooled Space Mountain, now Hyperspace Mountain, as well as the new Force Awakens sequence that was added to Star Tours.
The 71-year-old went on to describe the long-running franchise as a family based soap-opera that revolves around family problems (i.e. Luke vs Anakin Skywalker) rather than focussing on spaceships.
Although pre-Christmas day movies aren’t exactly known to make much money, people are saying that Star Wars is not just any other movie. Now it’s happening all over again.
With the release of Star Wars The Force Awakens less than a month away, we’re now entering the time period where the blitz that has been building is hitting its peak. “I said, ‘All I wanted to do was tell a story of what happened-it started here and it went there”. But we are very good at rumors, right?
“He’s quite the smart aleck, which I find hilarious, and that has made me a fan”, says Mr Ng, whose earliest Star Wars memory was catching The Empire Strikes Back (1980) with his uncle at the now defunct Odeon Cinema.
But for me, Bobby Moynihan is the scene stealer when he pops up both as Danny DeVito auditioning for BB-8 and as George Lucas, just wandering around the studio, asking for a few Coke Zero. Although, there are a “couple that are there because you have to have them”. Or it may be something even bigger?
If you’d like to see how well the Star Wars 7 fan trailer matches up with the real one (hint: very), here’s a side-by-side comparison.
