‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ sets Fandango record for ticket sales even
You’ve probably already heard about this, but Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now actually out, in actual cinemas.

Tangled Web, a comic book store in Spartanburg, rented out a theater at the Spartan 16 for opening night, said Daniel McAbee, owner of Tangled Web.
The last Star Wars movie came out in 2005 and these fans are glad the 10-year wait is over. The wedding party donned Star Wars-themed outfits.
“Star Wars” fans flooded cinemas around the world Thursday for the first showings of the breathlessly anticipated seventh installment of the space saga, and they floated out on nostalgia and positive reviews.
Coming in with high expectations, Diego Jacobo said the newest “Star Wars” did not disappoint.
“I have to join the force too, as a wife of course”, said Mary Olivieri, his wife.
The movie premiered in theatres nationwide Thursday at 7 p.m. Fans are still out in force lining up for packed screenings.
AMC, which operates more than 25 theaters in New Jersey, will not “permit weapons or items that would make other guests feel uncomfortable or detract from the movie-going experience”, according to its Web site. Fans said they came for the once-in-a-lifetime event, because they had been watching the movies since they were a little kid or because they never got to see the original trilogy on the big screen.
