Look for the #22 ranked Wolverines to extend their win streak to four games and be 4-1 heading into their week six matchup with the #16 ranked Northwestern Wildcats.

This is the second game Maryland game affected by weather this season.

“Were going to prepare for the things were going to see defensively from Michigan and then worry about the weather when it becomes a little bit more of a factor for us, ” Maryland offensive coordinator Mike Locksley said.

The Maryland Terrapins are coming from a 45-6 loss to West Virginia.

The game was scheduled to be a nationally televised night game on the Big Ten Network. Even with all of its recent issues, U-M has lost only two Big Ten openers since 1982.

Michigan is fifth in the Big Ten in kickoff coverage. For a defense light on turnovers, this could be a chance, especially in strong winds and potential rain, to create a game-changing play as Maryland has already thrown 12 interceptions.
