Start times for Cardinals’ first two NLDS home games announced
Before opening up the National League Division Series on Friday, the Cardinals must announce their 25-man playoff roster, which may not include players who have played a pivotal role in the team’s ninth 100-win season.
The St. Louis Regional Chamber says calculations show that each postseason game has an economic impact of $5.9 million. Louis (KMOX) pep rally runs from 1:45-4:15 pm in the Ballpark Village lot at Clark & 8th.
Game 2 of the division series will be at 4:37 p.m. Saturday at Busch Stadium. The CBS Radio St. Louis pep rally is from 12:30-3 pm. The third game and fourth games of the series will be hosted by the wildcard victor and played on Monday and Tuesday. The scheduled start times for the Mets-Dodgers games are 8:45 p.m. Friday and 8:07 p.m. Saturday (both times Central). Game 5 (if necessary) would be Thursday at Busch Stadium.
The NL Championship Series will begin Oct. 17 on TBS, and the first game of the World Series will take place Oct. 27 and will air on Fox.
