State Police Investigate LaGrange Bank Robbery
The suspect was given an undetermined amount of cash and left the bank.
Investigators believe this was the same suspect that robbed the bank about 1 p.m. last Thursday.
It is unknown if the two robberies on that day are related. A search, with the assistance of the Farmington Police K9, had no results. “He was also wearing white golf shorts with large checkered stripes, and was described as being tan with a slender build and standing about 5’8″ to 5’10” with very short dark brown hair. He threatened to shoot the teller, but never showed a weapon.
Officers searched the area with the help of a New Britain police K-9 unit, but could not find the suspect.
West Hartford Police Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect pictured above and there is a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to his arrest.
The man was described as white, around 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, purple latex gloves and was carrying a handgun and an orange gym/knapsack drawstring bag.
Anyone who may have information on this robbery is asked to call the Berlin Police Department at 860-828-7080.
