State Police Investigating Bodies Found in Southern Maine | WABI TV5
The body of their son, Eric Jorgensen, was found at his Montgomery Road home. Investigators continue to work on the circumstances of the deaths including the causes of death and the manner.
State police have identified three bodies found inside two houses in the coastal Maine town of Boothbay Harbor as that of a married couple and their 40-year-old son. Police say no one, outside of the three victims, were involved.
An official says a 22-year-old man who having an Independence Day swim with friends at the Jersey shore suddenly disappeared from their sight and was found dead in the surf less than an hour later.
One man and one woman, both in their 70’s, were found inside a home on Lakeside Drive.
The victims are believed to be members of the same family, McCausland said.
Maine State Police spokesman Steve McCausland said Boothbay Harbor police officers made the discovery Saturday while doing a well-being check.
State Police detectives have arrived in Boothbay Harbor to investigate the case.
The three bodies will be taken to the medical examiner’s officer for autopsies Sunday, McCausland said.
