Steelers will play Bengals in AFC wild card game
The combination of a 28-12 Steelers victory over the Cleveland Browns, and a New York Jets 22-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills, has earned the Steelers a playoff berth. The Steelers will now be the No. 6 seed in the AFC, and they may very well be the favorites to win the conference.
Single-game tickets are sold out for the Bengals’ Wild Card round playoff game vs. Pittsburgh, presented by Fifth Third Bank.
WHIO-TV will be the home for the Cincinnati Bengals this National Football League postseason.
This year, the Steelers had already lost Bell after playing in six games, but were able to settle in with DeAngelo Williams, who rushed for over 900 yards and caught another 350 or so along with 11 rushing touchdowns in 10 starts. McCarron has been running the show for the team. The Bengals beat the Steelers, 16-10, November 1 at Heinz Field.
Should they win that game, they would move on to play against the Denver Broncos.
For the goal of discussion, should the Texans manage to beat the Chiefs on Saturday afternoon, who would you rather see them face in the Divisional Round-the Broncos or the Patriots? Why? New England could play any of Cincinnati, Houston or Kansas City in the divisional round in two weeks.
At the end of the day, it’s hard to find a team in the AFC with less issues than the Steelers.
WHIO-TV, Ch. 7, also is home to Super Bowl 50, set for February 7 in Santa Clara, Calif.
