Stephen Colbert and Tom Hanks Ask the Big Questions

Everyone asks those mind-blowing questions that few have the answers to, and celebrities are no different. He’s hip with his gadgets, shaves with a tweeting razor and even had Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel on as a guest for Wednesday night’s “Late Show“.

Leave it to American treasure Tom Hanks and Stephen Colbert to solve life’s greatest mysteries.

Although this might not be technically considered a “big question”, Colbert had to ask Hanks what he missed doing the most now that he’s a big star.

Another highlight from the segment included Colbert asking Hanks who he would have lunch with, living or dead.

“Tom, what would you do with a time machine?” The fact that Danger has not pitched this with Vin Diesel and the dog from Air Bud just shows that Hollywood isn’t out of ideas, it’s just not listening to them.

The audience began to laugh and Colbert said, “Ooh yeah”.

They talk about all of this, and much, much more. And Tom replies, “Oh, dead, of course”. After all, he can get the likes of beloved Oscar-winning actors like Tom Hanks to say absurd things such as, “Hitler-Killing Baby, go get me my coffee and wash my auto!” with a totally straight face. The world would be a better place.
