Stephen Curry Of Golden State Warriors Injures Shin Again, Feels Frustrated

Predictions for the MVP revolve around four names: Cavs forward Lebron James, Thunder forward Kevin Durant, Pelicans’ center Anthony Davis and Golden State Warriors point guard, Stephen Curry. He returned on January 4 against the Charlotte Hornets.

Curry is averaging just under 30 points per game this season.

Power forward Draymond Green recorded his third straight triple-double with 13 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists, as Golden State (32-2) took their home winning streak to 35, including 17 this season. After Curry went inactive due to a shin contusion, many thought the team would turn to Thompson to be its top guy. Barnes is also a key contributor in the winning machine that is the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors pulled away on the strength of a 22-0 run in the third quarter as the Lakers’ futile offense reared its ugly head.

However, Thompson counted with his consecutive hoops to push the lead quickly back to six. “He just moves without it, and once he gets the ball, within a second that can be three points”.

Draymond Green’s streak of three straight triple-doubles ended with nine points, 12 rebounds and five assists, but the Warriors never trailed while beating the Lakers at Staples Center for only the fifth time in franchise history.

But as Curry tells ESPN, he has no plans to shut it down to recover more fully.
