Stevie Nicks and Pretenders Announce New Tour

Nicks has sung the praises of the Democratic presidential candidate before; in a January 2015 interview, before Clinton became the party’s nominee, Nicks said she was “100 percent” behind Clinton to take the country’s top job.

Nicks, along with the Pretenders, will open the new tour October 25 at Talking Stick Resort Arena.

Collectively as a solo artist and Fleetwood Mac band member, Nicks has sold over 140 million albums and won several Grammys.

Nicks released 24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault in 2014. “I just woke up one morning and said, I have two years off before Fleetwood Mac comes knocking on my door”, she said.

“The big difference between her and me is that she has a child, and that will change things for her, but I think Adele knows what she wants and I don’t think she’s in a hurry”.

“Of course I’m for Hillary Clinton”, Nicks told the Times. I love being part of a team.

“In my band, there is no arguing”, she continued.

“I gave up caring about how everybody else in Fleetwood Mac feels about my solo work a long time ago”. She’s my around age, and I’m 66 and a half years old.
