Steward calls Fabregas a ‘snake’, sacked by Chelsea
The steward, reportedly an Arsenal fan, was filmed verbally abusing a confused Fabregas as the Spaniard left Stamford Bridge and the Mirror have reported the person in question was relieved of his duties.
The Spaniard played a key role in Chelsea’s title win but like his team-mates, has struggled for form this season.
We’d be surprised if he’s still working there…
Fabregas, along with Diego Costa, bore the brunt of Chelsea fans’ anger for the sacking of Mourinho, with the perception being that he hadn’t performed for the former manager despite his protestations to the contrary.
“You can have several reactions [to criticism] but I think he gave the right reaction which is to perform and to have the team perform”.
The former England worldwide was giving his Sky Super 6 predictions, when he stated he was predicting Arsenal to win the fixture 3-1, but actually hopes his favourite club, Chelsea, could secure a draw. “He made a very good step and what I like is that he’s contributing to the team on the pitch and also off the pitch, with the youngsters, which is good to see”.
