Stockton Named to The Princeton Review
Millikin was also named one of the Midwest’s best colleges in The Princeton Review‘s 2016 College Selection Guide. “The Princeton Review ranking, because it is based on results from those who know Millikin best, our students, is especially gratifying”, White added. “Only schools that permit us to independently survey their students are eligible to be considered for our regional “best” lists”, he said.
Stockton students surveyed revealed that the University is a “small, safe, close-knit” public school with “tons of activities available”, and that the professors “are very informative and help you so much in choosing classes to help you graduate on time”.
The Princeton Review once again listed Transylvania University among the top 15 percent of the nation’s four-year colleges. “So we get inquires from the Princeton review, no question about it”. “My professors have been A++, if Evergreen gave grades”, one student was quoted as saying, in a reference to Evergreen’s unique narrative evaluation process in lieu of letter grades.
The Princeton Review also rates the schools on its “2016 Best Colleges: Region by Region” list in six categories.
Also this week, Marietta College was recognized by Forbes.com as one of America’s Top Colleges.
The 125 colleges that The Princeton Review chose for its “Best in the West” 2016 list are located in fifteen states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
